VACAY!

Sorry for the lack of blogging lately! But I have been at the beach!! I went with my family and had the best time! It was the perfect vacay for right before school starts!

The beach was quite an adventure! I got my toes ran over by a car. Yes, a real car. Not many people can say that! But I can! We spent most of the days on the beach and the water was beautiful! It was probably the first time I actually enjoyed the ocean!

I am working on some new Back To School posts that I hope to start putting up tomorrow but in the meantime I thought I would just let y'all know that I was alive! Leave a comment if you have any ideas for blogs!! I would love to hear them!

Back To School: Makeup!

Summer Nail Polishes

This summer I have been really into painting my nails. I am obsessed. I don't have a specific color that I am into. It ranges from pinks, to blues, to neutrals and everything in between! I am usually an OPI fan but I found tons of Essie polishes for $2 at Trade Secret so I snatched them up and I have been very impressed. Another brand that I have been loving is the Revlon brand that you can pick up at your local drugstore. I think they are like $4 and are pretty good quality plus they have some pretty cool colors. So let's get started!

I am about to go to the beach so I wanted a pink color that would go with most of my bathing suits. So I ran to my Target and got this bubblegum/Barbie pink color from Revlon.

What's In My Beach Bag!

Hey everyone! Tomorrow I will be knee deep in the water somewhere, so I thought why not do a what's in my beach bag post?! I usually don't carry a beach bag when I am just down at the pool or something but since I am going to be spending all day at the beach I actually put a little effort into my beach bag this time!

My beach bag is from Bath and Body Works it is big and reversible so I love it! 

What's inside...

This little bag keeps all the necessities you might need throughout the day! If you are like me and have dry skin, the water dries it out even more! So I love to keep moisturizer plus mascara, bobby pins, and hair ties. And more than likely I will get bored so I love to keep a nail polish also. 

Again, I will probably get bored so I love to keep a light, fun book to read while basking in the sun :) I recently got The Lo- Down and I can't wait to read it while at the beach! A book review may be coming...

And of course you have to protect your skin from the sun so these are just a few of my favorite products that I use while out in the sun.

You don't want to have to put on a cover up sopping wet so a towel is always nice to have! I love these Vera Bradley towels because they are super cute and HUGE! 

Speaking of cover ups, I love to keep a fun, colorful one with me just in case my family decides to grab a bite to eat and we don't have time to go back to the room! 

Ok, I bet you're wondering why in the world does this girl carry around Ziploc bags in her beach bag?! I don't know about y'all, but I hate putting a wet bikini in my bag to get everything else wet so I just stick them in a Ziploc bag!

Last but MOST CERTAINLY not least, is this Sally Hershberger wavy hair spray! If I only had to choose one product to take with me, this would be it! It creates the perfect beachy waves and it smells AH-mazing!

Beauty By Bethany: First Blog!

Hi everyone!

I've watched beauty videos on YouTube for about a year now, but I feel like I would not have enough time  to spend making videos and honestly it is a little scary to me! So I thought that a blog would be the perfect in between!
